Don't forget to bring your flip-flops and sunblock because above all, Carp is a beach town. Located at the end of Linden Avenue, the ocean front in Carpinteria offers miles of gorgeous beach for swimming, surfing, fishing and tide pool exploration at Carpinteria Beach and State Park. Harbor seals and dolphins are common visitors to the area, as well as the occasional gray whale. Boogie board and inner tube rentals, combined with sand volleyball courts and a snack bar make this a popular locals spot on the weekends. |
